Carl Siegel
Executive Director

Since its founding in 1966, PC & CC has continued its rich tradition of providing pastoral counseling, psychotherapy and training programs to the greater Washington DC community. True to our original purpose, PC & CC remains in close partnership with local congregations providing professional counseling and consultation in conjunction with the ongoing healing ministries of local religious communities.

PC & CC’s multidisciplinary and interfaith counselors, some of whom are ordained, are able to offer effective counseling whether one is from a particular faith tradition or not. Accredited by the American Association of Pastoral Counselors, we offer only the most professional and spiritually sensitive mental health services to all individuals, couples, families, and groups throughout the Washington, D.C. metropolitan area. Whatever your need, concern or place of pain our counselors will bring a compassionate skill level to your work together. All of our counselors, whether they are psychologists, pastoral counselors, or social workers, are certified/licensed with their respective governing bodies.

We are deeply committed to helping you create and maintain healing and fulfilling relationships. That is why couples and relationship therapy has always been one of our specialties. Our staff is trained in what we have found to be the most effective form of couples therapy, Imago Relationship Therapy. In addition to counseling, we offer the transformative Getting the Love You Want Imago workshop for couples. We are proud of a strong training program that is training therapists to become Imago Relationship Therapists locally in DC and in St. Petersburg, Russia.

Today, PC & CC is not only a counseling center but a multidimensional training and consulting facility. We are proud to train interns from local graduate programs like Loyola College and Howard University. Interns serve the community by providing skilled counseling at a sliding fee scale and receive exceptional training and supervision. We also train clergy and lay caregivers by helping them deepen their skills in congregational pastoral care and counseling through our Pastoral Care Specialists program.

We would welcome a call from you today as PC & CC continues a rich history of meeting the care, counseling and consultation needs of our broad and diverse community. Please feel free to call me directly at 202-449-3789 x701. When I cannot answer, I will return your call sometimes within minutes but always as soon as possible.

With sincerity and hope,
